Hansen Tasmania has been growing apples in Tasmania for four generations. These days Carl (third generation) and his son Howard (fourth generation) are in charge of the business. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Farm Manager to join our team and help us take care of our orchard. As a Farm Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the orchard, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard. What You’ll Do
As a Farm Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the orchard. This will include planning and supervising the planting, pruning, and harvesting of the crops, as well as managing the irrigation and pest control systems. You will also be responsible for managing the budget and ensuring that the orchard is profitable. Additionally, you will work closely with our Sales team to ensure that our produce is of the highest quality and meets the needs of our customers.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for agriculture and a deep understanding of horticultural practices. You should have experience managing a team and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should have strong communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Who You are
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- A degree in agriculture or horticulture
- Strong leadership and management skills
